I've spent decades helping others buy, sell and manage residential real estate properties as a real estate Broker.
Now, in retirement, overseeing a couple of rental investments has become my part-time job as a result of the many technological, construction, economic, regulatory and trend changes in the residential rental industry challenging the myth of passive income and necessitating more than passive attention.
Combined with my fascination for technology, finances, styling living spaces and finding design solutions - the work is do-able and enjoyable while the goals are far more serious: offer competitive rental products attuned to today's renter needs for stable cash flows and liability management in a world of change.
